"The new flavor combines the tangy punch of dill pickles with the signature heat of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, offering heat lovers a zesty, pickled spice that’s unlike anything they’ve tasted before," the company said in a statement to Food & Wine. It's available starting today at retailers nationwide.

So why this flavor, and why now? Cheetos explained it’s simply responding to demand.
